Sophie Jonas-Hill
Sophie is a writer, award winning illustrator and tutor with a long experience of supporting adult learners to realise their creative potential. She is passionate about the art and craft of writing...both the long slog and the moments of ecstatic joy!
An artist and writer with a career spanning pattern cutting, silversmithing, and burlesque performing, she has three novels published by indie presses and an MA in illustration. She's currently writing an Urban Fantasy series, creating jigsaws for Ravensburger, illustrating book covers, and exhibiting her hand drawn work.
She believes everyone can write a book if they embrace the journey and brings that warmth into every class, creating a space where students feel valued and excited to write.
When she's not at her desk, she's setting up a community silversmithing workshop in Margate, drawing, and walking the coast with an audiobook.
