Jessica Berg
Jessica Berg is a literary agent and author. She founded Rosecliff Literary on a simple belief: ambitious writers deserve transparency, strategy, and a real seat at the table. She has spent more than a decade working with clients across fiction and narrative nonfiction, and the thing she hears most is that writers feel like they're missing something everyone else already knows. They're not. The system is confusing and a big part of her job is helping writers move through it.
She earned an MFA from Spalding University, and she serves as a contributing editor for Writer's Digest, where she writes about querying, craft, comp titles, and the business of authorship. She teaches globally on query letters, author positioning, and building sustainable careers in publishing.Â
She also serves on the board of the Historical Novel Society and as a chair for the National Women's Book Association.
You can find Jessica talking about all of it — querying, writing life, the business of publishing, and the occasional industry hot take on Instagram or on her website.
